"Worst Baby Shower Ever"

Films: Rosemary's Baby (1968)

Alias: Adrian Woodhouse

Type: Mystical

Location: Haunted Home

Height/Weight: Unknown.

Affiliation: Evil (Probably)

Summary: Satan's a little lonely in Hell. Better sire a child one of these days! But who to elope with? How about this random married women who moved next door to a bunch of cultists? No harm done.

History: Rosemary Woodhouse and her husband Guy have moved in recently next to the Castevets. Little do they know, these geezers take devil-worshipping very seriously. And to them, Rosemary would make for the perfect mother of the Antichrist. So they summon Satan to...have his way with her...in a dream sequence. Soon, Rosemary is pregnant with what could be the stepping stone to the rise of the Kingdom of Darkness.

Notable Kills: None.

Final Fate: Rosemary's child, Adrien, is born, and the mother is horrified at the sight. But then she just decides to raise and love the child all the same, presumably so that the kid grows up to defy his destiny as the Antichrist. The Anti-Antichrist, if we may.

Powers/Abilities: Unknown.

Weakness: Unknown.

Scariness Factor: 3-Part of what makes this tyke scary is that we have no idea why he looks like. Based on Rosemary's initial reaction, he's a sight for sore eyes. We do get brief glimpses of his father, though. Yikes. Still, there is a chance that this Hellspawn won't grow up to be evil, if his mother's decision is anything to go by.

Trivia: -There was a made-for-TV sequel to this movie, 1976's "Look What’s Happened to Rosemary's Baby". As far as we and the critics are concerned, it ain't cannon.

-The Antichrist is a Christian figure said to be the son of Satan, and the one who will confront Jesus, his complete polar opposite, during his second coming.

Welcome to Uncertainty. Prepare for lonlieness...

Well, Rosemary's certainly dressed for her new hubby.

Nurture might win over nature.
At least there's options for belief.

Is that his true form? Seems fine.

Turns out, this is the most uncomfortable parts of the film. Objectively.

Even God's light is giving the tyke a chance.

The serpent gives his blessing during the baby shower of the damned.

This...has to be a joke in marketing strategy, right?
